There are many ways to package your products. Often a combination of materials is the most cost effective. Along with the items
we’ve listed, Kelly Box also sells a wide variety of miscellaneous packaging supplies.
Banding and Strapping
There are two major categories of banding. One is Plastic Strapping and the other is Steel Strapping. Plastic is available in a number of different thickness and tensile strength. Plastic is generally the less expensive alternative while steel can provide the extra strength needed in special applications.

Tapes
Kelly Box stocks a variety of industrial tapes ranging from the common carton sealing tapes to the masking and filament tapes. Below is a list of our most common categories:
Carton Sealing Tapes - Include Kraft and Bleached Flatback, Heavy Duty Government Spec draft and bleached flatback, Polypropylene carton-sealing, and Label Protection Clear.
2” x 110’ Polypropylene / 36 Rolls per Carton
Crepe Masking Tapes - Includes economy, utility and general purpose masking tapes, Automobile paint masking tape, and crepe identification masking tape.
l” x 60’ Masking Tape / 36 Rolls per Carton
Strapping Tapes - Includes fiberglass Bi-directional, fiberglass reinforced (both general purpose and heavy duty) and fiberglass strapping tapes.

Mailers and Shippers
Often a less expensive alternative then corrugated, shippers and mailers are effective and easy
to use. They can be purchased plain or printed with your logo in one or two colors. The following are the four main types of shippers:
Recycled Pad-Kraft Shippers and Quick Load
Pad craft shippers are made from 80% total recycled content. They are superior to other padded bags in burst and tear strength and are available in 10 sizes with tear strip for quick, easy opening.
Recommended Uses: To protect heavier, rugged items.
Recycled Air-Kraft Shippers
Bubble-lined, lightweight, golden kraft shippers are made of Recycled AstroCell Green bubble. Shippers are moisture-resistant and convenient to use. They are available in 10 sizes in either
self-seal or heat-seal and two-color printing is available.
Recommended Uses: Great for lightweight items.
Poly-Lite Shippers
Tri-extruded, multilayered polyolefin is stronger than paper. It is waterproof and lighter than
paper to save on postage. With its self-sealing closure, it is easy to use and it accepts ink, pencil, pressure-sensitive and water-activated labels.
Recommended Uses: Great for lightweight items.
Reinforced Truff-Kraft and White Tuff-Kraft Shippers
White Tuff-Kraft is an attractive recycled bag containing 50% post consumer content. Reinforced Tuff-Kraft is golden tan and comes in plain, gusset, and self-seal.
Recommended Uses: Great for products that don’t require cushioning or heavy weight protection.
Stretch Film
Polyethylene film that is designed to stabilize loads during transit and protect them from damage. Stretch wrap can be applied economically by hand or by stretch wrap machine.
Recommended Uses: Stretch wrap is the most cost effective and economical way to get a pallet from point A to point B.
