KBPC History

Kelly Box & Packaging is a family-owned and operated business that has served Northern Indiana, Northwest Ohio since 1955.

In the beginning, Kelly Box manufactured wooden shipping crates, something we no longer manufacture in the 21st century. But over the years, we've expanded and changed our offerings to include corrugated, foam, and polyethylene packaging materials.

In 1994, we expanded our manufacturing and warehousing space to a total of more than 135,000 square feet. We can handle all phases of packaging – from conception and custom design to fabrication, storage, and shipment.

In 2001 we grew further, expanded our space to 200,000 square feet and added more equipment to convert corrugated into unique packaging designs.

In 2007, again, we expanded with an additional 50,000 square feet building to manufacture corrugated pallets. We also added converting equipment that allows Kelly Box to make corrugated pallets economically at competitive prices.

We strive to become a company that not only grows but also continuously improves. Starting, as a small wood crate provider that has grown into a multi-million dollar organization is a process of continuous improvement we are proud of. The combination of working with clients to solve problems and working toward lowering cost makes this company successful.
